I've been hearing about blogs for years and reading them occasionally. I decided to join the fun. Most of my friends are entertained by my thoughts and experiences (at least they let me think they do), so I figured I'd publish them for the world to enjoy as well.

Let's see....to bring you up to date, I'm currently dating Randy. He's a cutie.

He drives a freight train for a living! He's probably sleeping right now. He loves model trains and kinda got me a little hooked. But, my current passion is scrapbooking. I just got back from CKU last weekend in Houston. How fun! I'm ready to quit my job and do it for a living...but then I come to my senses. However, I am putting together a scrapbook room. The table is ordered. I can't wait for it to arrive. Why do I need this table and a separate room? Let me illustrate ...any questions?

What else....my current project is a scrapbook/cookbook for my future sister-in-law, Brooke. I'm getting down to the wire. I couldn't just make a simple cookbook, could I? No....all cookbooks need pictures! So, I'm making as many of the 2 dozen recipes as possible, taking pictures, and scrapbooking them. I'm loving every moment, but am completely stressed out! I'll post some pictures of the finished product. I was up at midnight trying to make whipped cream and photograph peanut butter mouse pie before it collapsed. I think I was successful. I need to scrap 12 more pages in 2 days plus make the favors. I'm completely nuts. Scroll down to the bottom of this post for a preview of the cookbook.

So, I'm at home now. It's 6:41pm. I have 5 hours and 29 minutes to work on the cookbook. Or, maybe I'll clean - regardless, it all needs to be done in just over 30 hours. I want to scream! Why do I do this to myself? Please don't feel you need to comment on that one.

Well, I'm signing off for tonight. Please check back soon for my latest drama.
