Julie Wins!
Congrats Julie! Yes, I painted my craft room this weekend. I woke up Saturday morning and decided that "This is the Day". I headed over to Bridgeton and bought 4 samples of Benjamin Moore paint. I love Benjamin Moore paint. You can get 2-ounce samples for like $3. I had four of them painted on my walls. The color in the Pottery Barn Catalog is "Phillipsburg Blue". It looks lighter in the pictures. It's actually navy and quite dark. I picked up "Van Cortland Blue" which is a few shades lighter and actually looks more like the picture in the catalog.
So, here's my advice - don't drink wine while painting. The lines weren't very straight and it's hard to keep your balance while on a ladder. Thanks to mom who came over on Sunday for the second coat and helped to straighten the lines along the floor. I was pretty giddy. If you've ever been with me while I painted a room, you'd know. I start giggling and jumping all around. There's nothing more exciting to me than seeing a room transform before my eyes (the whole orgasmic experience part).
I have to admit, I was hoping more people would get a chance to guess. Maybe I made it too easy. I will post a picture tonight when I get home. I took one but didn't bother to upload it because I wasn't expecting anyone to get it on the first try!!! So, Julie, where do you want to go to lunch? I guess I can stop worrying how I'd hide the craft room from you when you come over this week

No - it was actually pretty difficult! I thought you went somewhere - I was thinking along those lines. Then, I pasted Benjamin into google and about the 5th site down was for Benjamin Moore paint and that's when the lightbulb went off! Yea! Free lunch! Can we go ANYWHERE??? Hmmm, I'll have to think this one over and get back to you! Julie
Jeez - I read your entry totally wrong! I was trying to figure out which one of those lines was supposed to be the title. I didn't realize they were all clues to what you did in one day! But now I get it, and it makes perfect sense. Next time I will pay attention better... Kelly
