This is the Day
Wow! This is it! Today's my last day at Commerce. I've just about got my desk all cleaned out. Oh, and I never thought I'd get gifts! Yes, gifts! Thank you those of you who got me something! That was so unexpected and thoughtful. We're all heading over to Shady Katie's on Rt 30 for my Happy Hour tonight. Everyone's invited! It's an emotional day, but I haven't cried yet. My camera is here so maybe I'll get some funny pictures tonight.

Trick-or-Treat
Halloween was so much fun last night. Mom and Dad came over to help hand out candy. I think I bought six bags. I probably tested at least one bag's worth - maybe two. So, we'll say I had four bags of candy. Mom brought over parts of two more bags. After two hours, I had to hit the IGA for more! The weather was perfect and the costumes were adorable. Pirates were definitely popular as were princesses. My first three trick-or-treaters were teenage boys dressed as Disney Princesses. They even complimented my house! How nice was that?!?!? They said they remembered it a few years earlier and we'd made a lot of noticeable improvements. Granted, two years ago on Halloween I was chiseling my front step. Now, I have a beautiful, wooden front step.
