Fun-Packed Saturday
Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures....but Saturday was TONS of fun. I couldn't have done it without my friends who came early to set up. Chrissy washed dishes and put out the lunchmeat tray, Kelly sliced veggies and vacuumed with the new Dyson. Julie came early and brought her spinach dip. I know there are things that they did to help out that I may not even have realized. So, THANK YOU so much...I couldn't have done it without you. But, I know if I keep abusing you guys so much, you'll never come early again!!! But it was fun to visit.

I can't believe that 6 people watched me demonstrate 12 projects, each make 12 projects, and ate lunch in under 5 hours! That's just incredible. We had so much fun. I hope everyone learned something new and had fun doing it. I'm already finalizing the plans for March and April. Here are the techniques you missed out on:
- Two-Step Stampin'
- Masking
- Emboss Resist
- Rubber Band Backgrounds
- Background Stampin'
- Markers
- Watercolor Pencils
- Rock and Roll
- Stazon and Watercolor Wonder Crayons
- Kissing
- Bleaching
- Faux Metal

My House Keys
I guess I've had a lot on my mind this week, but it seemed like I lost my house keys more often than usual. Twice, it took me at least 30 minutes to locate the stupid things. And, both times, believe it or not, they were between two potholders. So, if you ever hear me looking for my keys, ask about the potholders. And, the craziest thing was that the second time I found them there, I hadn't even been baking!!!

The second time I lost them I gave up and swiped the spare key. Of course I didn't replace it. So, I walked out the door to go to church this morning without my keys. I quickly realized what I had done - including the fact that the spare was still locked in the house. But, I wasn't worried. Mom and Dad have spares and I'd be sitting next to them in church. When I got to church, my grandmother said "Looks like we have the row to ourselves this week." Mom and Dad were in Ocean City. I started to get worried. I also REALLY hoped that mom and dad still had the spare key to their house hidden AND had a spare key for my house in their house. Otherwise, I'd be driving to the shore. I could call them, but my cell phone was locked in my house. I was hungry but had no money...but get this one...I had my ATM card with me - no problem, right? Wrong. I had JUST gotten a new ATM card on Friday and activated it. Where was it? You guessed it - locked inside my house! I thought I had enough gas to get to Ocean City. Anyway, it didn't get that bad. Mom and Dad did still have their key hidden and there was a spare to my house in their house. So, I didn't starve and I didn't have to drive to Ocean City. I think I need to find a new process for locating and not losing my keys. But, this time I knew exactly where they were. They were in my bedroom with a pile of other "crap" that I had been collecting in my pockets throughout the day on Saturday. Too bad I couldn't get to them!
