TGIF
Hello everyone! Technically it's Saturday. I can't believe it's 1:18am and I'm still awake. I had good intentions of going to bed, when I said, "I'll just make one more thing." Well, an hour and a half later, I did.

The rest of my week wasn't nearly as silly as the first couple of days. Julie, Al, Anthony, and I went on a fun double-date on Wednesday night. Why didn't we think of this sooner??? I LOVE having another couple to go out with. Last night (Thursday), I went into the city to Claire's Stamp Camp. I'd post samples of the fun projects, but you can also see them on her blog. She also let me demonstrate my double slider card. I think she's a fan. If I'm counting correctly, she's made three more versions of it. I think that's more than I've made. You'll just have to come to my February Technique Day if you want to see what I'm talking about. It's the coolest thing. Even men are impressed!!! You pull the tab at the top and a tab pops out the bottom too! It's magical! I saw it out in New Mexico last weekend. It's a hit! We'll be making them in March.

Anyway, I need to get to bed, but I thought I'd share this week's projects with you:
- The Happy Birthday (pink and teal) card is going to be the card I take to Portland to swap with other paper crafters. I'm making 20 of them and cursing myself for picking one that uses markers instead of ink pads.
- The "I Just Love You" card was one I made because I felt like punching out little red hearts and I'm starting to fall for the stamp set we got in Albuquerque.
- The floral card was inspired by a book I picked up last weekend. This was going to be the card I was planning to swap in New Mexico, but it used non-Stampin' Up! ink so I figured it would be a bad idea. I used Jim Holtz distress ink and Walnut Ink.
- Finally, the project I stayed up to make - a photo wallet. Stampin' Up! was offering it as a kit on their website to demonstrators. But, they also listed the supplies and instructions. Who would actually buy the kit if you can just follow the instructions?!?!? Check it out! I need to put pictures in it, but I think it's a super-cool project. You might see this at a future event as well. It would be great for a new baby or a wedding or something. Kelly - pictures of your wedding will probably go inside. I know, the colors don't go, but that's what the instructions told me to do. I'll branch out next time.

- Oh, and I almost forgot. I found a pattern for a Chinese-Take-Out-Like box. They end up being REALLY tiny, but they're so cute! I think these will be part of my March class too, although, they'll have an Easter twist to them.

Kristin, Al and I LOVED going out with you guys! We'll have to do it again soon! I also LOVED the projects you made! I can't wait til my order comes in. I need a craftroom SO BAD. I really have to put a fire under Al's butt! (OK, maybe I'll let him recover from his surgery first!) Talk to you soon. Julie
