Diet Progress
I'm sure you're all wondering! Or, maybe you're not since I didn't discuss it in great detail on here. But, the first week of my diet was quite successful! I lost 7.5 pounds. I can be happy with that! So, let's see what week two will bring. I have one, big challenge - Portland. I'm flying out to Portland on Thursday evening and I won't be back until Monday morning around 6:30am. So, for three and a half days, I can only eat take out. I considered changing my hotel reservations to one that had a kitchen. But that seems silly since I will rarely be at the hotel. I think I'm going to live off of fruit and granola bars. Last time I went to a scrapbook convention, I kept forgetting to eat because I was having so much fun.

Oh, I forgot to tell you what I did Friday afternoon! At lunch I decided to drive around Elmer. Sometimes I just have to get out of my house! While driving up Main Street, I noticed that the old Gruber Real Estate office had a "For Lease" sign in the window. I was excited - available office space in Elmer! So, I called. But wasn't entirely suprirsed to see how small the office was - 595 square feet. The rent was the right price - $750/month! It was three, small rooms. It just wasn't well suited for a scrapbook store. Oh, I wanted it to be! It would have been three or four blocks from my house. I could have walked there! The real estate agent loved my idea of a scrapbook store. So, I'll sit tight, try to be patient, and wait for something else to come available.
