I Hate Mondays
I'm sure most of you would agree. So, I thought I was in good shape with work after last night. I put a good amount of time into work yesterday afternoon and evening and was set to wake up at 5:45 to get to Philly by 7:30. Great plan. I set the wrong alarm. I woke up at 7:15. I still somehow managed to make it into the client by 8:30. Not quite sure how I did that with traffic. And, since most people travel on Mondays, no one really arrives until noon anyway. But, I did want to get a head start on some things. Now, it's 12:15 and things are moving great.

I know, you all want a diet update. Well, I'm pleased to report that I lost 6 pounds last week! Yes, 6! Can you believe it? I can't! I've lost a total of 19 pounds in my first four weeks. So, after being really upset about sleeping in, the scale made my day. That never happens! Now the hurdle comes in. If I can get past the 20 pound mark and keep losing, my diet will probably be successful. Usually I ease up at 20 pounds and stop losing. However, now that I'm fully aware that I have that tendency, I've been more successful. However, again, I start traveling next Monday. Hopefully I'm not too tempted with restaurants and can stay on track. Wish me luck! I will miss hopping on the scale daily to track my results.

No, my builder guy didn't give me a quote for my home improvements yesterday. I guess what I asked for was a bit more complex than a simple roof like last time. So, I'll hold out for next Sunday when I see him again. Or, maybe he'll just drop it off some day.
