Question of the Day
Okay, here's my question - how often do you wash your sheets? I wash them once a month (if I remember). I admit, I should probably do it more oftne. However, I was talking with someone last night who washes them once or twice a week. Now, I'm sure that we're on different ends of the spectrum, but that seems a bit extreme to me. This person even said they only like to sleep on one side of the pillow per night. Meaning, they switch out their pillow cases after two days. Who is the one that is more "normal" here?

Unfortunately, our home is not a hotel -- no one picks up my towels for me, no one cleans up after me and no one washes my sheets several times a week. Our home is much more like yours... the sheets get washed when I realize I don't remember the last time I washed them. So, usually about once a month. Maybe I should come up with a new method. I'll be interested to see who else responds to your informal survey...
When I am rich and famous my sheets will be washed daily and hung outside to dry for that incomparable smell. In the meantime, when I remember, every few weeks or so give or take.

Ok, more than once a week is venturing in to OCD territory. I'm with Melissa (hi, Melissa!). We do ours around the time we look at the sheets and say, "Hey. We haven't washed our sheets. We better throw those in the laundry."
Hi, Michael! Thanks for agreeing with me... glad to know that I'm not the only one without sheet-OCD.
My Mom is in Jenn's camp, she said her idea of luxury living would be fresh sheets daily. As for me, I'd say once every couple weeks, with the pillowcases a little more often, particularly during the summer if I've been going to bed without a shower. Hope you are well.
