I'm Sorry
Well, I was on vacation from work - and blogging. I had a nice break. I did a whole lot of nothing for most of the week, but I'll share some of my favorite highlights:

Sunday - Julie, Kelly, and Chrissy came over for hours and hours and hours of stamping fun! It was so much fun! I can't wait to do it again. Everyone is so inspiring. We helped Kelly solidify her Wedding Thank You design. I have to admit, the design is wonderful. Okay, so she "case"d one of my cards so I'm a bit biased.

Monday - I visited with the gang at Commerce. It was a big day because Friday their CEO had stepped down. Maybe not so voluntarily. I'll be anxious to see how that all works out. I don't really remember the rest of the day. Oh yes...dentist appointment. So, I was in A LOT of pain. I was eating a diet of Advil. The side of my face HURT. I called the emergency number on Saturday and heard nothing....NOTHING. I called and got an appointment for 3pm that afternoon. When I saw the doctor, he appologized for not calling back. He said he didn't get my message until Monday morning. I asked what would have happened if it would have been a real emergency...ready for his response....he said, "I would have felt bad". WHAT?!?!?!!? Julie thinks I need to find a new dentist. The good news is that the temporary crown just needed filing and that I'm experiencing a lot less pain.

Tuesday - I remember Tuesday. That was the day that mom and Brooke came over to help with yard work. We had lots of fun together. We did some weeding and cut down two trees that had decided to grow in places throughout my yard.

Wednesday - Fourth of July. I woke up and visted Elaine at Crabtree. She showed me all of the new, wonderful Vera Bradley designs. Then I raced home to prepare food for the family picnic and Brooke and Ed's. We had a nice picnic before the weather turned ugly. I ended up staying up late to watch fireworks on TV. How boring?

Thursday - Oh gosh. I don't remember Thursday at all. Hmmm....sorry. Maybe that was the day I went to Delaware. I decided to scope out a scrapbook store, hit my favorite Christian bookstore, and eat at where else - Border Cafe! Here's my lesson learned from vacation....if you're going to read a book in a day, start before 7pm! Yes, I was stupid enough to start a book by one of my favorite authors and I didn't get to bed until 4am!!!

Friday - Needless to say, I slept in. I think I ran a few errands, but was otherwise a complete bum, I think.

Saturday - Well, ever the procrastinator, I saved the four loads of laundry, cleaning the house, and packing for the next two weeks for the last day.

Sunday - My official last day was spent driving up to the lake and spending the day with mom and dad. Mom and I stamped for HOURS! She helped me make 63 cards and start 40 more. I can't believe how much progress we made! I officially have 135 of my 250 swaps completed!!!

Today....so I drove up to the client site today. It was a relatively good day. Our computers had been moved to a different location today. Not a better location, but there are no bats. I was productive, but it wasn't nearly as fun as doing nothing for a week. Aren't you jealous of my vacation? I had nothing to blog about because I sat around on my butt and did nothing! Well, I have a huge stamping order arriving at the hotel tomorrow. I can't wait! Maybe tomorrow night I'll be productive.
