Mondays - Love 'em and Hate 'em
It's been a LONG time since I woke up at 4:30am to catch my Monday morning flight. I think I've forgotten my routine, but made it to NY just fine. I felt like I was forgetting something all day because I only had one suitcase instead of the cart-load of stamping stuff I had with me the past two weeks.

I think I have decided that I have too much planned - yes, I'm admitting it. So, I think I'm actually going to skip the Creating Keepsakes convention entirely this weekend. I think I'm going to stay home and spend some more time alone with myself otherwise I may have a complete breakdown by the end of next week.

Oh, and check out my Stampin' Up! website! I FINALLY updated it with new, current art work and posted dates for some of my upcoming events.

I think the people at the hotel hate me. I was pretty upset with them last week for sharing some of my personal information. They called out to me across the hotel lobby asking how room 306 was. It's a HUGE No-No to share a hotel room. What if a stalker had been sitting in the lobby? Second, they faxed all of our personal credit card information to another hotel in the area to make reservations. What??? Did I approve the release of that information? No. I explained my concerns with the project manager. I have to wonder if he said something. I got the cold shoulder when I checked in. The past few weeks they've been giving me a wonderful room on the top floor facing the lake with a king size bed. This week I think I have the worst room in the hotel. Why? It's on the first floor. It's very handicapped accessible. What do I mean? There are special lights in my room that light up when the phone rings or my door bell rings. And, the whole bathroom is practically a shower stall because it's built for a wheelchair to roll right in. Oh, and it has a door connecting me with the room next door. I asked the front desk if they had ANY other rooms, they quickly said no without looking - they always look for me. Now, I know for a fact that some people had not yet checked in. Therefore, why couldn't they switch my room? Well, the room is growing on me. If I can get over the shower/bathroom, then I'd love it. It has one of those chaise lounge sofa things. AND, to top it off, my network cable reaches to the chair. So, I can relax and surf the web. But, I still feel like I've been demoted. Thanks for listening to my ranting.

Have you seen any good movies lately?? Does the room have a decent tv?

Too funny. I ended up in a handicapped room this week too. The room itself is great, but I agree about the bathroom and shower. Hope you end up with something better next week -- and with friendlier front desk folks!
