PaperCraft Madness
Today was a great start to a week-long papercrafting marathon! Julie and I started out early and drove over to Valley Forge for the annual Creating Keepsakes Convention. I didn't do nearly everything that I had originally scheduled, but I was able to pick up the supplies for the classes I missed. We checked out the Vendor Fair and each took two classes. I made a 10x20 inch canvas wallhanging. It was very "child" related so I didn't finish mine in class because I don't have kids or nieces or nephews....yet. So, mine will have another theme, but it was a great project. My other class was a little gift book thing. It was a cute idea, but I'm not a huge fan of precut, pre-scored products. I prefer to make stuff from scratch, but they had some great ideas. I actually won a door prize in one of my classes - that NEVER happens. There are about 75 people in each class, so the chances are pretty slim that you'll win.

After I got home, I actually did my laundry. It was done before 9pm on a Saturday night - that NEVER happens either. So far, I'm ahead of schedule. Next, I started in on my swaps. I made another 23 which now brings me to 235 if I'm counting correctly. I could stop now and be in very good shape. So, I may reprioritize some things and make swaps with any time I have remaining.

I'm going to try to update my blog nightly from Denver. So, check in for details and pictures of all of the excitement at convention!!!! I wish I could take you all with me....but you need to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator to attend!!!!
