Productive, Fun Weekend
What an absolutely gorgeous weekend! I drove down to the lake house on Thursday afternoon and met up with Mom, Dad, Brooke, and Ed. I had one mission for the weekend - swaps! If you remember, I have 76 completed at home. Mom and I completed about 63 last weekend. I want a total of 250 by the 30th of the month. I now have 211!!!! How great is that??? I'll work on the others either this week or next weekend or at the Valley Forge scrapbooking convention!!! Do you have any idea what that many cards look like? I'll have to show you when I get home. So, I thought I'd share with you some of the highlights of the weekend. Oh, the one picture I don't have is of Brooke and I stamping. Thursday night Brooke and Mom helped me make 16 of the swaps. Brooke made her own card on Friday. And, get this...she's REALLY good at coming up with the inside sayings!!! I really think she has a career in greeting card writing ahead of her!
Here's a picture of Brooke and Ed on the jet ski!
Mom loves her rocks! Here she is fishing one out of the lake. This one was located in a "gray area".
We took an evening ride on the boat. Dad decided to sit in the bow. This was my view during the ride.
We had to turn back early because of thunder and lightning, but here's a picture I snapped of our house (the brown one) on the way back in.
Mom's taking an evening paddle around the cove.

looks like a beautiful place to spend the weekend!
Are you sure you guys weren't in Maine? It looks really familiar - except no mountains! Glad you had a good weekend with the family!
