It was bound to happen....
I've actually been cleaning the bedroom tonight. I finally made it all of the way around the bed. I still have lots to sort through, but I can walk all of the way to the nightstand. I haven't been able to do that since last October. Wow. It's been a year.

Anyway, many of you know the way I shop. Buy everything in sight, return 75-80% of it a few weeks later. I have to buy it and bring it home to compare the new clothing with my old wardrobe, see how it coordinates and fits at home, and decide if I really need it. Well, around October of last year there were two events that required me to have a nice dress - Randy's firehouse dinner and Brooke and Ed's rehearsal dinner. I ordered from Kiyonna, Nordstrom, probably Lane Bryant, and shopped at Talbots looking for something. I found a dress for the firehouse dinner from Nordstrom, I think. I wore a pantsuit that looked like I should be at a funeral for my brother and Brooke's rehearsal dinner. I thought I had returned everything. Where am I going with this??? Well, when I got to the bottom of the pile next to my nightstand I found a large, flat, un-marked box. I had no idea what was in it, but it looked like I had taped it back up. Honestly, I was a bit scared to open it. What did it contain? Over $200 in dresses from Kiyonna that had to be returned by November 6, 2006!!! They're still in their little plastic shipping bags! I think I'm going to be sick. Why on earth would I have put that box on the bottom of the pile? How on earth did I lose track of a $200 return? Oh well. Maybe they'll look nice on and I'll get some use out of them. What else can I do with them???

Stop rolling your eyes or laughing or whatever you're doing over there. It's not funny!!!

can you sell it on ebay? I've found that to be a good solution for shopping "oops" in the past...
