Phillies Game
I've had a fun-filled couple of days! Last night Mike took me to the Phillies game. His brother-in-law has season tickets and shared them with us. We were in the first row. Here's a look at the game.

Even if you're not a fan, you've probably heard about the Phillies taking over first place from the Mets. So, it was a very exciting game! It was my first game in the new stadium. Okay, it's not that new anymore, but it was still very exciting for me.

Let's see....in other news....I finally had my final interview with the software company, I think. They called and told me that they wanted to offer me the job - but - they thought I had to interview with someone more "corporate". But, five minutes later they decided I had interviewed enough. I think they might have offered me a job. I'm not quite sure. Their offer was lower than the hospital's and lower than what I was making at BearingPoint. They promised attractive bonuses, but I never count on bonuses. Plus, if I can make more staying local, why would I even consider a consulting position? I told them how much I had been making and they were supposed to get back to me. I haven't heard back in a couple of days. Maybe they realize it's pointless. So, I'm feeling better and better every day about the hospital's offer.

Oh, and who can forget dinner at Border Cafe on Thursday night!?!? It was fabulous, as usual. We both tried the Gumbo as an appetizer. It was tasty, but I recommend skipping it and jumping right into fajitas!

Have you been enjoying the new fall premiers?!? What are your thoughts? I cried through the end of Ugly Betty. I'm not in love with the new Grey's Anatomy. The Bachelor is just stupid. I don't remember much about Private Practice so it must have been a dud. I've been enjoying Dancing With the Stars. So, let's see what else is new this week with Cavemen and Desperate Housewives. Yes, even though I now have full cable, I only watch ABC. Oh, but I did get to see The Office last night at Mike's. The show is growing on me. I need a new Tivo. I can only record one channel at a time.
