Stampin' Up! Regional Conference - Philadelphia
Whew! What another fun and inspiring day. I woke up WAY TOO early on a Saturday morning to be one of the first of 500 demonstrators at the Philadelphia Convention Center for the Stampin' Up! Regional Conference. It's like a mini convention all wrapped up in one day. We get to see lots of demonstrations, make several make-and-takes, win door prizes, and go home with a free stamp set. And, for those people who aren't as sick of swaps as Claire and I, there was tons of swapping too. I made 10. I swapped with my little group of five. But, I had a few leftover if I saw a really nice swap go by. That's terrible, isn't it? My swap wasn't exactly that stunning. We'll actually be making it at my Technique Day next weekend.Anyway, of course I went with my camera! Taking pictures of all of the great ideas is the best part. Claire and I fell in love with one of the members of the SU training team in Denver, Jaron. Yes, he's a male and he stamps. He makes some cute projects and he's extremely entertaining to watch. I have to also share one of his projects with you. I have a picture of the Santa he demonstrated and a picture of what Santa was supposed to look like. Pay attention to the location of glitter and the color of Santa's outfit. I guess we all have bad days!
We heard lots of inspirational speakers, learned new techniques - one of which was perfect for next weekend. It was a technique I had been planning to demonstrate, but seeing fun, new ideas definitely will benefit all of you!Claire volunteered to be a helper. Gotta love the look on her face (she'll kill me for posting this - especially since I have a better picture of her). Do you think she looks very helpful there?!?!?! Claire had four of her "downline" in attendance today: Melissa, Melanie R, Melanie B, and myself. You can see Melanie R and Melissa's blogs over on the right. Alison also attended regionals, but she went yesterday. Here's the picture of those of us who attended today without Melanie B. We miss you Melanie!
Finally, I took one, additional, fun, photo. We stuck around while Claire helped clean up - then we all headed out to dinner. I couldn't help but snap this picture of all of the punches on the table!!! You can barely see it, but our group name, INKredible Impressions, is on the sign behind the punches. Have you ever seen so many punches???? And you thought I had a lot!

Claire
you're hilarous. glad you had fun at Regionals. Sorry I wasn't able to join you ladies on Saturday. I was inspired by the Fall garland, so I may join in your class in Oct. if there's room. See you Wednesday!
