Pretty Colors
Finally! Do you feel that way? The leaves are finally turning pretty colors. Maybe it was because I was running 20 minutes late for work this morning. But, while driving up 55, the leaves were gorgeous in the morning sun!
I have some EXCITING news for you! Maybe it's just exciting for me, but I have to share. For the first time in THREE YEARS there are no boxes of random junk sitting on the first floor of my house! I had a house full of Stampin' Up! demonstrators last night and just couldn't let them see my craft room or my classroom cluttered. What does that mean? There are no rooms left to hide things. Everything is finally in a storage room to be sorted. It's a great feeling! I actually cleaned most of the craft room in about 25 minutes on Monday night. My motivation? Once it was clean, Mike was coming over! I've never cleaned so fast in my life. Now, things are still shoved on shelves, but it's presentable. We had a lot of fun stamping on tiles last night. OH! We took a group picture! ACK! It's trapped on my camera. I'll have to post it when I get home.
And, I know you must be going crazy wondering how my Guitar Hero progess is coming along. I'm pretty bummed - I beat the game last night. It shouldn't be that easy to beat. (Part of the reason I'm 20 minutes late for work.) I only played for an hour. I beat it at the "Medium" level. So, that means I have to go back and try for the "Hard" level. The nice thing about this game is that you can just sit down and play one song, whatever song you want, without having to go through the whole thing - not like Mario Brothers where you start at the beginning every single time. There are some really fun songs on this game. I didn't know a lot of them from Guitar Hero I or II. My favorite was the challenge last night where we played "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" or something like that. FUN! And, I beat this guy on the third try. Much easier than "Slash" was Tuesday night. Oh! And, I played one song and only missed 2 notes. My consecutive note streak was 453! That's pretty darn impressive. That was on "My Name is Jonas" by Wheezer. I really like that song, but now I think it's too easy - that's why I only missed 2 notes.
