Piccolo
So the weirdest thing happened last night. Somehow Mike and I started talking about eBay and some items he's listing for his boss. I guess it was because he wanted my opinion of a starting price for one item that the topic came up. I don't remember. Anyway, turns out he had a piccolo in his car. What the heck!?!?! I've always wanted a piccolo. If you don't know, I collect musical instruments. I have a couple of clarinets (the instrument I played in school), a flute, a violin, a piano (hard to miss), several keyboards, but I always wanted a piccolo. I asked for one from my parents and it's quite obvious why they didn't get me one - why would I need one? My flute certainly wasn't played regularly! So, when I heard he had one in his car, I made him run out and get it. Of course I couldn't even play the thing - I think it was just frozen! So, we're going to see if it sells on eBay (there are quite a few listed) if not, I have an option to buy. Not quite sure what to do here...I always have wanted one (not that I remembered wanting one until I heard one was in his car). But, what would I do with a piccolo except drive the neighbors crazy??? I guess he got a good laugh watching me attempt to get any sound out of the thing. I was sad that I was having problems playing the flute!!!
