Aussie Travel Specialist

That's what I want to be - an Aussie Travel Specialist. I applied for the online program and was accepted (I don't think they're very selective). Now I just have to take a few exams online about Australia and then the benefits begin - whatever they are. So, if you're planning a trip to Australia, give me a call!!!

I've been reading a very humorous book - Bill Bryson's In a Sunburned Country. I have never laughed so hard in my life. I started reading it Friday night and Randy must have thought I lost my mind. I was practically rolling on the floor through the 16 pages I managed to get through. I've been laughing ever since. It's part travel journal, part history book. In the first few pages he arrives in Australia and takes the Indian Pacific train from Sydney to Perth. It's a three-day journey if you don't get off. That was at the top of my list of things to do on my next visit. Next, he drives around Southeastern Australia. We've gotten out of Sydney, ventured down to the nation's capital, Canberra, and have just arrived in the Barossa Valley.

That's my other choice on my next trip, driving around. I have driven through the Barossa. So, between all of this research and my new job, you know what comes next - a second trip to Australia!!!
