Happy Monday

How was your weekend? Mine was fun and eventful, as I'm sure you read. So, I bet you're wondering what I got at Pottery Barn. I TOTALLY lost my focus. I wanted a HUGE bulletin board. When I walked back to the furniture section, I didn't see it. But, what I did see was a beautiful desk.

Mine is more of a mahogony color. It's not very damaged either. Two of the corners just need to be touched up. And, no surprise, I also bought some dishes. Stop laughing.

So, the desk is much bigger than it appears. I had a spot all picked out for it in my mind. It was going to go in the corner of my living room opposite the grand piano. The one problem I saw was where would I put my Christmas tree. Well, I don't have to worry about that anymore because the desk doesn't fit. It's about 8 inches too long. It's still in the back of my car. What am I going to do with this thing? Stop laughing.

Anyway, I was so distracted by the desk, Pottery Barn was the only store I went to in Lancaster. What was I thinking? Oh well. I didn't have any room left in my car anyway.
