Gift Cards
My question of the day is this: If you are receiving $50 worth of gift cards for an event would you rather:
A) Receive one card in the amount of $50 for a particular store
B) Receive two, $25 cards for 2 different stores
C) Just give me the money!

I'm conducting an unoffical poll. There are several schools of thought here:
A) A larger card from one store gives you more flexibility to buy a larger item without having to put money out yourself. Or, you may be inclined to "sit" on the card for months because you're too afraid to spend it and want to save it for later.
B) Two cards shows that you put more effort into the shopping and weren't lazy and went to only one store. However, because the cards are in smaller denominations, you may be required to chip in some of your own money to cover any additional expense.

I would LOVE to hear your thoughts.

Residential Cruise
So, I got my long-awaited information for the timeshare cruise thing. Okay, I only had to wait a day. I was very disappointed when I opened the beautifully embossed folder to find even less information than was posted online. So, I guess I'll just ditch that idea.

Cruise to Australia
Since I ditched the residential cruise idea, I started researching traditional cruises. I think I want to cruise from LA to Sydney. Wouldn't that be cool? The only problem is that it takes a month. Oh, and that means it's really expensive. Can you tell that my new travel perks and pay raise are burning a hole in my pocket? But, Cunard Lines looks like a lovely cruise line. One one of their ships they have lots of single rooms for people travelling alone. And, they have men on board for single women passengers to dance with. I guess you're screwed if you're a single male!

Countdown to Lost
Tonight is the season's fourth episode, right? That means only two more until the winter break. How sad. I'm excited that it looks like we get back to Kate and Jack and Sawyer tonight. The rest of the crew is really boring me. Randy and I had a HUGE accomplishment last night. We finished the first season of Lost. He and I are now caught up. Since I purchased the boxed set in March, we have been slowly making our way through the first season since he just started watching in season two. I feel a real sense of accomplishment!
