What A Weekend!

Wow! What a busy weekend. I don't know where to start. When I got home from work on Friday there were boxes of Stampin' Up stuff on my back porch. It was better than Christmas! I had fun seeing what all of you picked out. I still haven't put all of my stamps together, but I'm tackling one set at a time.

Friday night mom and I got together to assemble the collages for Ed and Brooke's wedding next weekend.

I think they turned out great! It was fun working with mom in my new craft room. It is definitely my favorite room in the entire house! After mom left, I put together my Christmas card. No, you won't be seeing a preview of that online. You'll have to check your mailboxes in December.

Saturday was the first day of the ARC sale in Millville. I crawled out of bed at 6:30, got there around 7:30 and still waited over 2 hours to get in the building!!!
Did you know they sell Ralph Lauren dishes there? Kelly, don't worry, I controlled myself and only bought one cart-load of stuff I don't need.

Saturday was Harvest Day here in Elmer. I like living in town. I was sitting in my craft room making Thank You cards with my new stamps and watching QVC when I heard a string band! I walked out my door, and down to Main Street and watched the Parade go by. How cool is that? A few hours later they were setting off fireworks. But, I didn't wander out to look at them.

I actually made it to church on Sunday. It was the first time in four weeks. It was the last Sunday Ed will be single. I tried not to get too emotional. We had a nice, family lunch together. I caught up on all of my Tivo shows too - Men in Trees, Ugly Betty, Law and Order, Law and Order SVU, and Desperate Housewives. Maybe I watched too many shows over the weekend to have many thoughts or questions to post online.

This week is a "return week". If you don't know how I shop, they you won't understand. But, I spent two hours running around my house last night looking for unused items with tags attached that I haven't used/worn since they were purchased. Here's what I found:
- $207.88 for Lane Bryant
- $24.00 for Pottery Barn
- $19.99 for Bed Bath and Beyond
- $32.33 for JoAnns
- $49.99 for JCPenney
- $366.88 for Nordstrom
Grant Total = $701.07

I think that was a good two hours of searching!!!! Yes, I know, I probably shouldn't have bought the stuff in the first place.

To-do list for tonight:
- take picture of beautiful, new desk (which is still empty and unused)
- post pictures of collages
- post picture of horrifically long line for ARC sale

Kristin,
I think you should invite all of your friends over to go shopping at your house. It would cut down on the "return time". J.
