Artistic Weekend - Day 2
Today Dad and I went to Salem Community College to try out glassblowing! We experienced eight hours of glass arts. I think I came home with close to 40 icicles, snowmen, stars, an angel, and two actual ornaments we blew!!! One actually looks good enough to buy.

I think it's a class that everyone should try. And to our surprise, we ran into Sharon's sisters!! They were experts. This was not their first class. They're true addicts. However, Dad and I - almost simultaneously - said that we didn't have enough patience for glassblowing. We are not ready to make the investment to have our own glassblowing shop out back. I enjoyed the snowmen, but the iciles and stars aren't for me. Oh, and the most difficult part - the HOOKS!!! My two blown ornaments have perfect hooks - because I had our instructor, Dennis, make them.
