So, what was your favorite commercial? I think mine was the Blockbuster video commercial during the first quarter with the mouse. I laughed!!! I also really liked the GM Suicidal Robot commercial. It almost brought me to tears. Of course, the one with the half-naked men and the car was funny too. I was annoyed by the Toyota truck commercials. Even though they were stupid, I laughed at the Career Builder commercials. Another favorite was the Budweiser commercial where the crabs were worshipping the cooler. However, what I didn't see was the proposal! I heard rumors that some guy bought a 15 second spot during the 4th quarter and was going to propose! After the game was over, I went back and watched all of the commercials again (the beauty of Tivo). I still didn't see it! What happened? I'm sure every single woman in America was watching! No, I didn't really think that the commercial was for me, but there's always that outside possibility. I'm going to have to do a bit of research online today.

Update: Okay. I found the guy's blog. We didn't miss anything. It didn't air. I guess the guy, JP, was having a hard time finding a financial backer. Too bad, none of the guys I know has the initials "JP", so it wasn't for me :-(

Did any of you attend a SuperBowl party? I went to one that the NFL would have frowned upon. My neighbor had her traditional get-together for a lot of people from church. One of the many, flat-screen, plasma tvs in her house was a 65 inch flat screen in a newly redecorated living room!!! Apparently you break the rules if you broadcast the game on anything larger than a 55-inch TV, unless you're a sports bar that normally broadcasts sporting events. But, it was enjoyable.

Did anyone like the halftime show? I didn't. And, what was with that stupid purple guitar that cast inappropriate shadows on that sheet?

Anyway, those are my thoughts on the game. Oh, I guess I didn't really talk about the game. But, I wasn't really cheering for any team. I think I cheered when anyone got a touchdown!
