It Didn't Take Long
...but I'm officially bored. I've been unemployed for a week. I found myself wandering the house (procrastinating) today. Sure, I have tons to do, but I keep putting them off. I'm trying to force myself to stay out of the craft room, but I'm failing miserably. I made a scrapbook page, I accidentally designed my Christmas card, and I designed a new box. You may wonder how I accidentally designed my Christmas Card. Well, I'm working on a project of simple Christmas Cards. This design was awfully time-consuming. However, when I was done, I loved the finished product. So, now I can't share it with anyone. I also got my hair cut today and had fun catching up with my stylist. It's been a LONG time since I've been in. I also made a yummy dinner - Hickory Smoked Pork with garlic mashed potatoes, cornbread, and corn on the cob! Boy, I love being home (when I'm not bored).

The calls and e-mails keep coming. I just had a call from a recruiter for a position in NYC. I think I turned down at least three positions in NYC today. I received an e-mail confirmation for an interview in Philly next Friday. I applied for a job in Malvern this morning (the recruiter sent me two invitations to apply yesterday). So, the job search is definitely still in full swing. I've decided that October 1st will be my start date. It's perfect. It's a Monday. Now, I just need a job offer that will fit in with my schedule.

Okay. Now that I'm in LOVE with my Christmas card, I think I'm going to try to lock myself in the bedroom. I decided that starting in the craft room wasn't working out too well - I was too easily distracted. So, I'm going to try another approach to this cleaning thing. Check in tomorrow to see how I made out!

if you're bored, you can come over and help me fix my ransacked dining room:0) of course I had to make my doorprize basket pretty tonight after seeing a certain someone's doorprize basket looking all nice and professional, and I didn't get to clearing off the table which has been full of stuff for a couple days now...good thing I'm not cooking dinner these days - we wouldn't have a place to eat it anyway!...but I did sort an order and mount a bunch of stamp sets for my customers...and now it's time for bed.

Geeeez, you can work for me during the day so I can be "bored" at home all day! Poor thing! There are a million things I would rather be doing at home than here in the office!

i like your Oct. 1 timeframe idea. Just enough time to stamp for regionals and re-create some of the projects you'll learn.
