It Figures
...that I don't have a convertible this week. The weather is PERFECT. There's no humidity, the temperatures are in the mid-70s, and there's not a cloud in the sky. This is my punishment for demanding a rental/loaner car on Friday. Grrr... The weather better be this nice next week. There's no need for AC!!!

Today I focused on jobs in the healthcare industry. There's one I'm pretty darn perfect for in Cherry Hill. So, we'll see if anything comes from any of them. Then there was this job I HAD to apply for in Seattle. It pays double what I used to make!!! I'm even qualified! Problem 1 - it's in Seattle. Problem 2 - it's only a temporary position. Problem 3 - you get paid a lot because you have to pay all of the taxes and health insurance. So, I applied - what do I have to lose!

After work today, since it was gorgeous and I brought my camera, I drove around Geneva snapping pictures of some of my favorite sights. I took about 50 pictures, but I'll only share a handful....

This is the building where I used to work before they moved me back to a window-less freezer.

Here's a view of our lake. I get to wake up to this every morning!

When I arrive on Monday mornings, I pass these colorful rowhomes. I LOVE how they are all different colors and so well maintained. Check out the third picture in particular - can you see the lake through the buildling??? How cool is that???

I was driving along the lake noticing that the railyard was rather empty when I spotted a Chessie System covered hopper. I made a mental note to pull over and take a picture on the way back. Well, I pulled back into traffic, continued on when I spotted a SECOND Chessie System covered hopper. Some of you may know why I chose Chessie System railcars to photograph. Randy was the President of the Chessie System Historical Society. Old habits......

By the way, Dave....I haven't forgotten you...I just lost your phone number!!! E-mail me and we can set something up.
