It Almost Felt Like a Workday
I got up this morning around 7:30, left the house at 8:30, and didn't get home until 5. I haven't had a day like that in weeks. I won't complain because I know that's a typical day for most of you. What was I doing? I went to Claire's to hang out, scrapbook, and stamp! I made two, cute cards - I'm into this color scheme:
Don't get used to it, but I rarely stamp the card base to make a background. But, this needed something - and I was inspired by Claire. Her style definitely includes card base stamping!
While I was there, her mailman delivered 30 or so Christmas Card swaps. They were supposed to be simple, easy-to-make, easy-to-recreate cards. But, some were NOT simple. Don't get me wrong, they were adorable, but not simple. I was very inspired.
After hanging out with Claire, I headed to Cherry Hill for interview #2 with the hospital. I'm still not overly impressed. I think I'm going to call the casino tomorrow - it will have been a week since I've heard from their HR department. And, I have a second interview with the software company on Friday afternoon.
After chowing down on leftovers, I'm headed off to choir practice. If you know me at all, you know I don't eat leftovers. But, I'm on a tight budget. My grocery bill this week was only $30! I have to make every penny count since I'm leaning towards turning down just about every offer I receive in the next few days. Is that a mistake? I'm certainly far from desperate for a job right now. Stay tuned.

lovely cards! I'm impressed that you can tear that straight. Is that linen thread you used? Hemp twine refuses to tie in a bow for me...
