Take a Break
You all know by now that that's what I'm doing. However, I found the message (below) posted on the demonstrator portion of the Stampin' Up! website. I think it can apply to all of us - demonstrators or not!
Life can be wonderful and hectic. You settle into a routine that balances family, work, and other areas that require time. Sometimes life becomes unbalanced, and the hectic elements outweigh the wonderful ones.
We've all been there. No matter how much you love your life, you're susceptible to burnout. When that feeling hits, and you feel like you're in a rut, here are some ways to overcome it.
- Slow down. Remember that life is a journey, and slowing down once in a while can be just what you need to get motivated again.
- Do something that's just for you. Whether it's reading a book, going for walks, or taking a trip, do something you've always wanted to do.
- Refill your creative well. Peruse project samples online or join a card swap.
- Take a break. Even when you're doing something you love and enjoy, taking a step back can result in renewed enthusiasm for your work.
The most important thing to remember is that taking time for you, for the things that refuel you, will make you stronger and happier. Do the things that bring you joy!
