What a GREAT Day
It completely flew by. I woke up later than I wanted - 9:45ish. Mom called shortly after and stopped by to take the first load of yard sale stuff down to their house. The UPS man then came. And, if you're an SU demonstrator, you know how exciting it is when the UPS man comes - even if most of the stuff isn't yours! I then drove up to Cherry Hill and visited Elaine and the gang. It was completely tax deductible, of course!
I've decided that all afternoons will be complete wastes of time because I'm completely addicted to all of the ABC soap operas. So, after that was all over - I called out to mom to see how much she had spent on my yard sale stuff. Amazing - she hadn't spent much at all!!! Because I knew that I'd never get through my whole basement tonight (which was my goal), I invited mom over for motivation (and lots of help). Granted, she had her own reasons for wanting to help. Yes, she wanted to spend time with me. But, she also wanted to get a first look at all of the stuff. I can't believe how much stuff I'm getting rid of. There's still a ton of unorganized mess in my basement. However, there are three or four car loads of stuff that aren't down there. Yes....I got rid of three to four car loads of Fall and Christmas decorations. That's what most of it was. It's the perfect time of year for a Halloween/Christmas yard sale. What will I do tomorrow? Well, there's still the craft room. And, there's still the attic. It's a bit warm in the attic these days. However, most of the stuff that's up there is clothing which will go straight to Salvation Army.
I'm completely exhausted. I will sleep well tonight. I'm definitely motivated to clean out. Thanks Mom!!!

way to go with cleaning. it's never an easy task. sounds like you're finding it rewarding, though.
