Busy Day
Wow, I got a lot done today. It's going to be a VERY busy week. I'm converting two rooms in my house this week. So, step one was to go shopping!!! I introduced mom and dad to Ikea today. We must have spent about 3 hours there - and I was prepared. I knew exactly what I wanted. I made a few minor changes, but certainly didn't waste too much time. The goal was to get a table and chairs for my soon-to-be-unveiled stamping classroom. I had no idea the stuff would be so heavy. We removed my bed from my bedroom, unloaded a HUGE table, 8 chairs, two bookcases, and an assembled dresser from the truck. The dresser and a jewelry chest went upstairs - my soon-to-be-bedroom. We laid out the pieces to my "new" bed upstairs. We're missing a couple of pieces. Therefore, I have no bed. I guess I'm sleeping on the sofa for awhile. Unloading the truck was painful - almost literally. You may know that my dad had his pacemaker replaced less than a week ago. I was REALLY concerned about him overexerting himself. He was fine, I was the one struggling. Mom vacuumed my rooms well - no wonder I've been having allergy issues. You should have seen the amount of dust under my bed!!! After that, I called a couple of AC companies to get quotes for central air. One is coming out tomorrow afternoon. My house is a complete disaster! Some of you have no idea how I really live. Well, I guess I have posted some pictures before, but it's awful. No one should live like this. And now I have no place to sleep in my three bedroom home! Hope to see you soon!
