Great Monday
Yesterday was pretty great, considering it was a Monday. Work was work. But, Mike made my Monday fabulous! First, he finally got my wireless internet up and running. I'm sure you're scratching your head wondering why it's taken me this long to get wireless internet in my house. You may also be more curious if you knew that I've had a wireless router for about two years now and have never hooked it up. Well, I was chicken. I was lazy. I was scared that it would be unsecure. Well, Mike got me all fixed up last night. Now I can go anywhere with my laptop. But that's not all!!! It gets better! Because I now have wireless, my Wii can be connected to the internet. So, now I can download games - like Super Mario Brothers. Remember that game? I remember playing that game in my brother's room as a kid. I downloaded it immediately! But that's not the coolest part. I can now play Guitar Hero against other people online!!!! Mike and I did that. It's a bit more of a challenge for me until they start selling additional guitar controllers for the Wii. But that's not all!!! Mike also connected my Tivo to my internet. I've been dialing up for a couple of years now. Being online means I have TONS more options - I can rent movies online, I can listen to music, I can get updates quicker, and I'm sure there are several other things I can do that I don't know about yet. Oh, I can log onto any computer in the world and tell my Tivo to record a program. How cool is that?

On top of that, Mike cooked me dinner last night! I had to wonder what I'd done that he would do so much for me in one day. I felt very spoiled.

Tonight my goal is to clean the Craft Room. I REALLY want to decorate for Christmas, but I'm finding that to be difficult because I have a messy craft room hanging over my head. So, I'm going to knock that out, have a clean house, then clutter it up with all of my Christmas stuff!!! Check in tomorrow to see if I was successful!
