Half a Million Dollars
That's how much money I need. For what you ask? To purchase my scrapbook store. Well, not the store, but the building. It's probably not the best location, but it's the location that I'd love to have and have always dreamed about. The old Elmer 5 & 10 is for sale - for $499,900. I haven't seen a "For Sale" sign on the building, but it is listed online. There's currently a consignment store located in the store. It was previously a fabric store. It's beautiful inside...hardwood floors (at least that's how I remember it). It would be PERFECT. So, who wants to be my equity partner?!?!?!?!?!? There's a 1-bedroom apartment upstairs that currently rents for $700/month, but that's not going to help with the mortgage. I actually briefly considered selling my house and moving into the apartment above the store. I could walk there!!! However, I am a bit confused - it lists as 3 units, but I only see info about 2.
